Be Comfortable When You Camp

You don’t have to rough it anymore when you camp outdoors. You can lie down in comfort with a self-inflating camp mat. The material is lightweight and durable. You can also bring with you a camping bed which means no more backaches in the morning.

When packing your clothes, avoid cotton. The dampness in the air can make cotton wet and heavy to wear. For camping outdoors, you can find wool and fleece clothing in thrift stores which will keep you warm and dry. As a precaution from getting wet, always make sure you bring an extra outfit.

The real secret to camping in comfort is Wellingtons. These boots will keep you comfortable in the most adverse conditions. When you wear a pair of Wellingtons, you won’t have to make detours around streams. You can plunge right through!

Another tip to camping is to bring a couple of tarps. Place one tarp over your tent and place the second tarp on the ground. This will keep the inside of your tent free from dampness and dirt.

Here’s a tip about your sleeping bag. Don’t bring a sleeping bag that is padded with down. Always bring a sleeping bag with a synthetic fill. One word will describe sleeping outdoors. It gets wet so your sleeping bag and tent are waterproof.

You can leave your storm gear at home when the weather will be sunny. To stay cool, bring nylon shorts, a hat, sunscreen, shades, and a cotton shirt. (Cotton is fine for warmer weather.)
