Keeping The Romance Alive

If you've been married for many years, you may find it a little harder to keep the flame burning. If you do little things on a regular basis, you can keep that loving feeling.

It is important to make sure that you tell your partner everyday how much you appreciate the things whether small or large that they do for you. Your partner  will know how you feel, and he/she will reciprocate.

Have a date night at least once a week. Both of you can get out of the house; have a good time; and rekindle the memories of why you fell in love with each other. Or plan a romantic dinner at home with candles and flowers. Cook your favorite dish and play romantic music. You and your partner will be in the mood to express  intimacy.

Bring home flowers just because, or buy her that piece of jewelry that she has been wanting. Get your husband something you know he will really love, as well. Be honest with each other so that the communication lines will remain open.

These are just a couple of great ways to keep the spark lit, and be romantic after many years of marriage. Make sure to celebrate all special occasions. This includes birthdays, anniversaries and Valentine’s Day.

The most important tip of all is to make sure that you show each other appreciation. Also, make sure to remember to say “I love you” often and with feeling. Then, your feelings can be known.
