What Foods to Eat for a High Quality Life

Eating healthy foods will get rid of unhealthy problems in your body. Soy fiber, protein from oats and barley, almonds, and oleo lowers cholesterol better than your cholesterol medication. In addition, soy lessens menopause symptoms.

Whole Foods are foods without chemical preservatives and salts. Mayor Bloomberg of New York City is trying to convince food manufacturers to use ½ of a teaspoon less of salt. That small difference will have a big impact on your health. Too much salt is a big contributor to high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke.

Anti-oxidants that are found in seafood will prevent cancer. Red tomatoes prevent cervical cancer. Dark green leaves prevent colon cancer and macular degeneration. Deep blue/purple - Eggplant, plums, blueberries, blackberries (strawberries, raspberries, and cherries come under this category as well) will lower your risk of heart disease.

Drinking milk will prevent osteoporosis, which is the brittle bone disease. In addition, Gano Excel has a product which will rejuvenate your body from the cellular level. You’ll have more energy, a higher immune system, and be able to think clearer.

Drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day will make your skin glow, as well as help your kidneys process the food that you eat. The bottom line is … You are what you eat so eat healthy and you will be healthy.

Caring for Your Feet

Foot care is more than about lotions and pretty toenails. When there is something wrong with your feet, you’ll have back, hip, or leg pain. Also, numbness in feet and toes is a symptoms of poor blood circulation.

There are several ways to treat poor circulation. One way is to buy a good pair of orthopedic insoles to fit inside your shoes. Another way is to supplement your diet. These supplements can reverse your symptoms: Vitamin C, Vitamin E, niacin, magnesium, Vitamin B6 and especially B12. Make sure to take the whole complex of Vitamin B. If you are already taking prescription medication for your circulatory problems, then consult with your doctor before taking vitamins.

It's important not to ignore the signs of poor blood circulation. If the poor circulation goes untreated and the numbness in your feet and toes continues, then you could lose your foot from amputation.

Walk every day. This will improve the blood circulation in your feet. Don’t wear shoes that are too tight. Check your feet for blisters or red spots. If they’re not healing, then check with your doctor. Wounds that do not heal means that you have poor blood circulation.

How to Make Trees Hardy

Late winter and early Spring is the best time to cut away dead, diseased, and broken branches or prune. Then the healthy branches will get the nutrients and water. Pruning also trains a tree to grow in a pleasing shape.

A pair of bypass pruners get the job done faster. After pruning one tree, rub your pruners with alcohol to prevent transmitting any diseases to the next tree.

Climbing around the large tree limbs with an electric saw is downright dangerous.  Pruning large trees is best left to a professional tree specialist or arborist.  http://www.pleasuresofyardwork.com/ can answer any question you have about your yard.

Classy Muscle Cars

Muscle cars are an American invention. The sleek, sexy muscle V- 8 car dominated the roads from the 1960s to the 1970s. Their  the individualized paint jobs made drag racing these cars a cultural phenomenon.

The most envied muscle car was the 1968 Plymouth Road Runner. Plymouth also built the 1968 Barracuda.

In the 1966, Chevrolet built the Camaro in order to compete with Ford’s Mustang. When the Chevy public relations representative was asked what Camaro means. He supposedly replied, "It is a small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs."

The most popular Camaro ever made was the 1969 Z28. This package included a special 302 cubic inch mill that produced 400 horsepower. It had a special suspension and handling package, wide rims with performance tires, low restriction exhausts, and custom Z-28 paint.

The 1970 Gran Sport Buick is a muscle car that is unique. It was a middle-sized car instead of a large chassis. “Motortrend” called it  “The quickest American production car we have ever tested.”  The 350 horsepower engine powerfully boosted the 1970 Gran Sport Buick. The V-8 engine came with dual hydraulic valve lifters.

Muscle car auctions are a place for car aficionados to dream. Seeing a muscle car up close is exciting. People are willing to pay a lot of money to have their dream of owning one fulfilled. Auctions houses will start the bidding at $500,000. It goes down to $497,000. The price lowers again and again until there’s a bid. Then another bid causing a bidding war to start.

Being Highly Sensitive Is Inherited

Being highly sensitive is not a disorder. It is a normal, inherited, personality trait, manifested by introversion, shyness, and quietness. There are some people who are affected by the subtleties in the environment. The root cause of this is biological. Their nervous systems are different from non-highly sensitive people.

Highly sensitive people are cautious. They don’t rush into things; rather, they stop and think before they act. It’s not that they are afraid. However, highly sensitive people reflect deeply on information. It may take them a day to respond to the information that you give them.

There are a lot of positives about being a highly sensitive person.  They are creative and curious with amazing imaginations. In addition, they are hard workers, great organizers, and problem solvers. They are extremely conscientious, and try not to offend others.

HSP - highly sensitive people - are in tune with the environment. They have an appreciative awareness to nature, music, and the arts. That’s one reason why HSP are called “gifted.” However, not all “gifted” people are highly sensitive.

A trait of being a HSP is becoming overexcited which feeds into, enriches, and heightens their talents. Sometimes this gift comes with some negativity. By being so affected by the environment, HSP are thin skinned; whereas, Non-HSP are thick skinned.

The slightest offense bothers a HSP. They get so angry that their frazzled nerves makes it so they can‘t function. Consequently, they respond by escaping, leaving, or getting away. This really is not a weakness because HSP are sensitive to an insensitive world.
